Outdoor Growing

This is a more typical outdoor grow op, its mid sized and its hidden mostly by the plantation around it from the public   eye.

The months of March and April are very good times to start your plants outdoors because they should start to mature and begin to flower by the months August or September, this is because the daylight hours start to decrease. You should start to plan your own grow spot and start your marijuana garden by late March to early April.

If you are using clones you are gonna wait on the transplanting part until a little before flowering season. Why do you wait till flowering season to transplant your clones? You wait till flowering season because the clones only need to grow for a week or two before they start to flower. Depending on what types of strains you are planting outside can depend on when you need to plant them. If you are planting a Pure Indica or and Indica Hybrid you cant plant them them in May or June because they have a shorter vegetative and flowering times than Sativa strains do.

When preparing your grow patch try to remove as many weeds as possible and don't leave heaps of earth around around for people to notice what might be going on. Carry the extra earth in bags if needed to a different location. You can now simply sow your seeds or plant your seedlings. When burying your seeds outdoors don't bury them to deep: the seeds should be anywhere from 1/2 in to an 1 in below the soils surface. If you are working with seedlings or cuttings, dig small holes and place the plants or bottomless pots directly into the holes. Remove the piece of cardboard from the bottomless pots before putting into the holes.  Ensure that the basis of the plant or pots are completely below the ground and are not visible to those passing through. The roots of the plants will grow down the hole in to the bottom of the pot and into the soil that surrounds the plants.

When digging your spot out you can either refill the hole with new soil, turn the old soil up or mix the soils together. Combining soils gives growers more control over the medium in which their plants will grow. If you do decide to bring your own soil, you want to look for soil with higher N then P and K value. Adding soil is a good idea and preferably used by many growers because the store bought soil lacks living masses enriched in the soil like weeds. Even if you weeded and seeded your grow spot patch there might be seeds or spores from the plants and weeds still left in the soil. For the beginning grow stages in the first few weeks you will have to come back to your spot and weed it out.

Once you have sown your seeds or planted your clones you want to give the grow spot a light sprinkling with water. That's all you have to do, you don;t need to worry about changing the soils pH just yet or feed the soil. If nature does not provide water and food then it will be your job to check up on the plants depending on the whether. If worse comes to worse you will need to give your spot water and feed your soil.

When growing out doors some growers run into roadblocks like pests. That's why when growing outdoors you need to keep your plants healthy and safe. In the second week of vegetative growth, you may want to spray your surrounding area with pesticides.
